This Singaporean band is made up of 7 guys who can't shut up about their national service, to the dismay of their partners. Brass Basah's distinct sound is all about being innovative, pushing themselves and their listeners to the edge of what's familiar to their ears, at the same time incorporating local Singaporean flavours, with the goal of making non-mainstream music genres more accessible. The band members come from various music backgrounds, and tout a variety of influences ranging from ska-punk, alt-rock, jazz fusion, and even J-pop. Be it face-melting djents, syncopated horn hits, or AK47 drums — they just whack only. Follow along for the lip-smackingly delicious tunes, stay for the goofy vibes.
